Biography

Sylvia Pasquel is a Mexican celebrity who belongs to an entire dynasty of famous Mexicans. She is the daughter of actress Silvia Pinal and actor Rafael Banquells, who separated when she was only 3 years old. Sylvia quickly felt attracted to this profession and began studying Fine Arts. Her siblings are the singer Alejandra Guzmán, Luis Enrique Guzmán and Viridiana Alatriste, an actress who died in 1982. Her daughter is Stephanie Salas, a Mexican actress and singer who had a daughter with the singer Luis Miguel: Michelle Salas. Regarding Pasquel's filmography, his resume includes nearly 70 productions, among which, in addition to an endless number of soap operas, The Wolf's Awakening (1970), a comedy by René Cardona Jr., and some Mexican cinema classics such as El Santo against Blue Demon in Atlantis (1970) and Chabelo and Pepito against the monsters (1973). In 2015 Silvia Pasquel collaborated with Arturo Ripstein in La calle de la bitterra, which competed at the Venice Film Festival; Nobody Will Never Know (2018), a drama that was presented in some festivals in Canada and the United States, and the comedy My Little Big Man (2018), where he shared credits with Fernanda Castillo and Jorge Salinas.
