Biography

Simone Reynolds is an internationally renowned film and TV casting director. She began her career at the Royal Court Theatre and has regularly returned to the theatre, having cast the Olivier award-winning The 39 Steps. Simone has cast over 30 films from Chariots of Fire, 4 Academy Awards, and The Long Good Friday, starring the late Bob Hoskins and Helen Mirren, to most recently, Love of My Life, for Canadian director, Joan Carr-Wiggin. Numerous TV series include The Vicar of Dibley and The Bill, TV movies for CBS, HBO, and ABC and for British TV, The Politician’s Wife, winner of BAFTA and Emmy Awards. Simone is a founder member of the Casting Directors’ Guild and undertakes teaching on audition technique and screen acting.
