KAIJA MATISS

Kaija was born and raised in Hunterdon County, New Jersey along with her siblings Mikus and Tija. Her parents, who own an event design company in New Jersey, immigrated from Canada in the 80s. Kaija graduated from the New School in New York City in 2009. She is of Latvian and Scottish decent. Her uncle is Brad Park, who is a retired hockey player of the New York Rangers, the Boston Bruins and the Detroit Red Wings; he is also a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
