Biography

Jennette McCurdy is an American actress, writer, director, and podcaster. She's best known for her Nickelodeon roles as Sam Puckett in iCarly and the spin-off Sam & Cat, which also starred Ariana Grande. McCurdy won four Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards for her portrayal of Sam. She's also the author of the memoir I'm Glad My Mom Died, which won the 2022 Goodreads Choice Award and the 2023 American Library Association Alex Award.
