Owen Crump was an American screenwriter, film director, and producer known for his work in propaganda films during World War II. Born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, he worked alongside Warner Bros. Studios and made propaganda films for the United States Army Air Forces. In 1942, he helped form the United States Army Air Forces's First Motion Picture Unit, where he served as a commander.
