VOODOO LUST: THE POSSESSION (1989)

Doctor Roberts is a professor of anthropology who has a passing fancy for one of his students named Meg. He uses the knowledge of Voodoo that he acquired while conducting studies in Haiti in a misguided effort to make her fall for him.
